Andrea Baker

Senior Associate Attorney

Andrea Baker is a Senior Associate on the Litigation Team at Oliver Hughes LLC. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, she earned her undergraduate degree in literature from New York University and a master’s degree in education from City College of the City University of New York. She served as a New York City Teaching Fellow beginning in 2004 and finished her teaching career in 2011 as an assistant principal for a New Orleans charter school. Andrea returned to school, earning her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2014.

Upon earning her law degree, Andrea began her legal career as a public defender in Augusta, Georgia, a continuation to her longstanding devotion to the community and its citizens. In 2017, she transitioned to civil litigation in Atlanta, Georgia, where she served as a defense attorney for both insured individuals and companies involved in personal injury lawsuits. Andrea has extensive trial and negotiations experience. She is admitted to practice in the Superior Courts of Georgia, Georgia Court of Appeals, Supreme Court of Georgia, Northern District of Georgia, and the Middle District of Georgia. Andrea Prides herself on preparedness and zealous advocacy on behalf of her clients.

Outside of work, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking her dog Amelia, and traveling the world.
